Access Forms - Database-How to help?

I am creating a database (in Access 2007) to the list of my many movies / DVD. Now I have the form created to the list: Name of Film, DVD Type (drop down list to Regular, Blu-Ray, etc), Standard / Widescreen (Standard drop-down list, display wide, or both), the genre of film (the dropdown list of Drama, Action, Comedy, etc), Year of the film, record number, duration film watched (drop down list to Yes or No), Notes and Description of the film. What I would like to do is have a pop-up form where you can fill the information or select it from a drop-down list, click a command button that is to save and close, but I want all the information to be auto populated and added to a table (as an Excel spreadsheet) where you can get a list of people of all records. I also would like this list to be ordered by the movie name in ascending alphabetical order. Is this possible and how I can configure it, I'm not very knowledgeable about access.

Ok. If this kind of thing you can definitely do. Your best approach is to create a set of lookup tables for the different options. TBL, eg DVDType, format tbl, tbl-Gender. Every table must have an ID column (with a counter) and a name. Create a table with columns for films like this: Name of the film (text) ... Format -> Configure this as a search and select the ID field of TBL-format. Repeat for other searches. when you get to create a form then you can convert ID fields in dropdown menus. It is quite difficult to explain how this so if you want to feel then send me an email (via Yahoo e-mail) and we use this line to my email address private. ==== This was taken off-line and contributing
