Building websites can be fun but, if you don't know how to add Meta keywords to your source page or keywords to your front page, your website will suffer immensely. Search engines can be unforgiving if this task is not executed well. That means your keywords are telling search engines the wrong thing to do. When keywords are added to the invisible part of a website, also known as the source, you could say your keywords are working behind the scenes.

To access the source code right-click on any live web page and select view source. You will see a lot of code that should not intimidate you at all. If you have your web page open in Dreamweaver, select the button called code and you will see all of the code for any web page you open up. That's the HTML code that powers the web. Don't be alarmed, there only 4 spots you need to think about and they are:

This Meta tag tells search engines to index the page as your home page. The robot interprets the word index as home page. Follow means to crawl your home page, store your information and share it with anyone searching for your content.

You often see page descriptions on the front page when you're conducting a search. You'll see it the next time you do a search.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3. &lt;xmp&gt;&lt;Meta name keywords=" keyword design and the source page will go away making turn back to a normal with text images.></p> <p>The spot to add keywords on the front pages are in the first 1 or two sentences. For everyone hundred words you write, you can add your keywords. Be careful of over doing this on the page. You could end up getting your content flagged for keyword spamming.</p> <p>It's not worth it to have your website put on hold for keyword spamming. The best way to add keywords to your web pages is to just add the information you want people to read, then look for spots where your keywords fit in logically. If you force the keyword in it will look like it you forced it.</p> <p>It's also great if you can get your keywords in your H1 tags or, header tags. If you have links that go from your page to another page you can possibly get keywords in there as well. The links are known as anchor text links that also help with search engine optimization.</p> <p>You will hear people debate this issue but I believe Meta keywords that work behind the scenes and keywords that work on the front page are extremely important to optimizing your website.</p> <p><em>The right keywords give search engines the clear intentions of your website and that should be the goal of any website.</em></p> <p>
